Prepare, Draw, and Record the Winners
Write the participation rule before the draw so the eligible pool can be explained afterward.

Choose the participant source
Load available top-level comments from one public TikTok video, or select a CSV/XLSX participant file that is no larger than 5 MB and 10,000 rows.

Set the eligibility and uniqueness rules
Choose the sample size and winner count. For TikTok comments, optionally require comment text or a minimum like count, then check the eligible total before drawing.

Draw from the eligible pool
ShortIntel keeps one TikTok entry per account ID when available, otherwise per username. Imported rows are deduplicated by participant ID or name before the local browser draw.

Download the winner and evidence CSV
Save the result record with draw ID, time, source, pool size, uniqueness rule, filters, pool fingerprint, and available winner identifiers. It is a reference record, not formal third-party certification.
Prepare Rules Before Selecting a Winner
State which post or imported list is eligible, whether duplicate accounts count once, which comment text or like threshold applies, and how many winners will be selected. Check the eligible count after changing a TikTok sample or filter.
ShortIntel can apply the configured rules, but it cannot verify external requirements such as following an account, tagging a valid person, residency, age, purchase status, or deadline compliance.
Use the Draw Record as Reproducibility Context
The CSV records the rules and a fingerprint of the eligible pool so a team can identify which prepared participant set was used. It also records winner rank and available participant or comment identifiers.
Random selection does not make ShortIntel an independent contest auditor. Keep the original published rules and any legally required records alongside the downloaded result.
Imported CSV and XLSX Files Stay in the Browser
Imported participant files are parsed locally and are not uploaded to ShortIntel servers. File references are released after parsing.
After a local file draw, imported rows, the filename, eligibility state, winners, and draw record are cleared from browser memory after five minutes. This does not delete the original file or any CSV you downloaded to your device.

How are duplicate participants handled?

Can ShortIntel verify follows, tags, or residency?
No. The current workflow filters available comment text and likes but cannot verify external account actions or legal eligibility.
Does the five-minute cleanup delete my downloaded file?
No. It clears imported rows and draw results from ShortIntel's browser memory. Files already stored on your device remain under your control.
