How to Download TikTok Photos and Slideshow Images
ShortIntel can recognize a public TikTok photo post when the source returns its images. Use Video Downloader to save those images in a ZIP containing a manifest that records their order. This workflow does not render a slideshow video.

Save and Check the Returned Images
The slideshow action is available only when the resolved source includes photo-post images.

Copy the photo-post link
Open the public TikTok photo post, choose Share, then Copy link. A full /photo/ link or a common short share link can identify the post. Do not use a profile or collection page.

Check the resolved post and image count
Paste the link into Video Downloader and start the lookup. Confirm the creator and post, then check whether the result identifies a slideshow with available images.

Download the slideshow image archive
Use the slideshow download action when present. Keep the page open while the browser requests the returned images and creates the ZIP. An image request failure stops the archive download.

Extract the ZIP and review its manifest
Open the archive on your device. Use manifest.json to review each image's index and filename, the returned dimensions when known, and the source post. File-manager sorting may differ from the recorded image order.
Choose Images, a Cover, or a Video File
The slideshow ZIP contains the images returned for one photo post and a manifest. Thumbnail Downloader instead saves the post's cover image. A standard video download saves an available video source.
ShortIntel does not join the images into an MP4, animate transitions, or mix music into a new video. Do not rename a ZIP to .mp4; it remains an image archive.
Music Is Separate from the Image ZIP
The image archive does not contain a soundtrack. If Audio Downloader is available, you can separately check the same public post for an audio source.
Audio availability and format depend on what the source returns. A photo post does not guarantee an audio download, MP3 conversion, or permission to reuse its music.
Why Photo Downloads Can Be Missing or Fail
An ordinary video post may have a cover but no slideshow image list. Private, deleted, restricted, or temporarily unavailable photo posts may also return no usable images.
Images must be fetched before the archive is created. If one fails, retry from a fresh lookup rather than assuming a partial ZIP contains every photo. The downloaded files retain the available source quality; missing detail is not restored.
