Privacy Policy

ShortIntel processes public links and the public post data needed to return the result you request.

Anonymous sessions and task expiry

New anonymous accounts, referral codes and reward records have a maximum one-year lifetime. Ordinary reads do not renew them indefinitely; existing legacy records receive an expiry on their next use. Temporary parse tasks expire 30 minutes after creation, including when comments are updated. Prepare the link again when a task expires. Creating new sessions is subject to request limits and a shared capacity budget.

TikTok draw recovery

Confirmed participant snapshots and their draw records can be recovered until the displayed expiry, at most 24 hours after preview. Records include eligible public account fields, comment IDs, source, rules and collection status, without comment bodies. This browser stores a recovery identifier; clearing site storage removes this recovery shortcut. Imported participant files remain browser-only.

Information processed

We process the submitted link and public post fields needed for the workflow, such as title, creator, cover, engagement counts, media references, and available public comment fields.

Service operations and retention

A parsed public-link result is cached for about 23 hours, a temporary page workflow record for about 30 minutes, and fetched public comments for about one hour. Limited operational logs may be retained for reliability, security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.

Anonymous usage and imported lists

An HTTP-only anonymous account cookie applies the daily free request limit and referral reward and can remain for up to one year unless cleared.

CSV and XLSX giveaway lists are parsed locally and are not uploaded. File references are released after parsing, and imported rows, filename, eligibility state, winners, and draw record are removed five minutes after a local draw.

Generated downloads

Comment XLSX files are generated in server memory as no-store responses. Slideshow ZIP and giveaway CSV files are generated temporarily in the browser. ShortIntel does not save these files to a database, object storage, or project history.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is used for aggregate site and tool-success measurements. Submitted TikTok links, creator names, and downloaded media are not sent to Google Analytics.
