TikTok comment export format reference
These are the columns ShortIntel actually exports. Use the synthetic workbook to check your spreadsheet or analysis workflow before submitting a public TikTok link.
XLSX contains Comments, Replies and Export Info. Join reply parent_comment_id to comment_id in Comments. Keep identifiers as text, not rounded spreadsheet numbers.
CSV combines main comments and replies, uses UTF-8 with a BOM, and quotes commas, quotation marks and line breaks. It has no metadata sheet; save the separate collection details after export.

Check collected_at, exported_top_level_comments, exported_reply_bodies, top_level_complete, replies_complete and all_truncated_reasons in Export Info. Source completion is not proof that every historical TikTok comment is accessible. Private, deleted, filtered and restricted content can be absent. Display filters do not change exported rows.

This tool is for a focused, one-video export. Confirm the returned post, then download an XLSX spreadsheet with the fields the connected source makes available.
The file is designed for spreadsheet review, content research, moderation preparation, or selecting giveaway participants. It is not an all-comments archive.
- Each export is limited to 2,000 top-level comments, 2,000 reply bodies, 120 page requests, and 45 seconds of collection; Export Info records the limit reached.
- The XLSX is generated in server memory as a no-store response and is not saved to a database, object storage, or project history.
- A recent source result for the same video is cached for one hour to reduce repeated paid source requests.
Know exactly what the XLSX file contains
When present, the file includes comment ID, TikTok account ID, username, display name, comment text, likes, reply count, and creation time.
A missing ID, nickname, or reply total is not inferred. It means that field was unavailable in the source response.
Public comments only, with clear limits
ShortIntel cannot access private, deleted, login-only, region-restricted, or source-blocked posts. Public availability can also change after you copy a link.
Exporting a public comment does not grant rights to republish it or identify a person beyond the public information supplied by the source.

Should I choose CSV or XLSX?
Choose CSV for one table containing main comments and replies. Choose XLSX for separate Comments, Replies, and Export Info sheets. Both use the same collected rows. CSV collection details can be saved separately.
What fields are included in the comment spreadsheet?
The XLSX includes comment ID, TikTok user ID when returned, username, nickname, text, likes, reply count, and timestamp. Empty cells mean the source did not return that value.
How many TikTok comments can I export?
Each run is limited to 2,000 top-level comments, 2,000 reply bodies, 120 source page requests, and 45 seconds. Export Info records filtering or the limit that stopped collection.
Are replies included in the XLSX file?
Yes, available reply bodies are saved in Replies. Export Info compares reported reply counts with retrieved reply bodies.
Can I use the XLSX file for a giveaway?
Yes. Import it in Giveaway Picker or load the same public TikTok video directly.
Does the exporter work with private posts?
No. It cannot bypass private accounts, deleted posts, login requirements, or regional restrictions.
